Grand Opening of the Anniversary Year – Dec 31, 2024

Join us in celebrating the start of Paimio's 700th anniversary year on New Year's Eve at Jokipuisto. The evening will feature a festive parade, inspiring speeches, and a breathtaking Pyrokratia pyromusical show.

Welcome to the Paimio 700 Opening Celebration! Join us on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2024, at 6 PM in Jokipuisto as we kick off Paimio’s historic 700th anniversary year with a spectacular event!

The event will take place at Jokipuisto (Sahurintie 7, Paimio).

The event is free of charge.

Program on 31.12.2024 at Jokipuisto

6:00 PM: Grand Parade featuring local organizers of the year’s events.
Speech by the Town Manager.
A preview of Paimio’s journey into the celebration year, highlighting the exciting events and experiences of 2025.
Greetings from local entrepreneurs, the church, and village representatives.
Approximately 6:40 PM: The grand finale: Pyrokratia’s pyromusical show. Witness a dazzling combination of music and fireworks lighting up the sky, kicking off the celebratory year of 2025 in style.

Paimion Yrittäjät ry will provide refreshments, including sausages and juice, for sale during the event.
